Chrome Can: Gravit Designer!

This first post in the Chrome Can series will introduce a fantastic application that can not only be used by professionals but is also a great tool for students who are making their thinking visible.  This application is called Gravit Designer.  Gravit Designer is according to the creators of the app, “A cross-platform design tool for the 21st century.”

What makes this tool so great is that it is available on any computer system.  You can download it on a Mac, Window, Linux machine and YES on a Chromebook. However, you do not have to install anything to use it as it also works in any modern-day browser.

Gravit can do it all! Use it to create designs for the web, icons, high-quality presentations, and illustrations.  Need to print your designs?  No problem, Gravit Designer can handle that as well.

Gravit is a full-powered design tool with “Unmatched precision in any unit (Pixels, MM, CM etc…) from creation to export”.  It has the structure to support all of your projects with layers and symbols to help shape your content. Fully-functional text and vector tools are also available.  There is nothing you can’t do with this design app!  After you have finished you amazing design Gravit Designer also offers high-quality exports to multiple formats (PDF, SVG and Image files).
